Building Community one Menstrual Cycle at a Time: Join the Cycle Charting Meetups!

We’ve all been there: when you start to learn about the menstrual cycle you want to share what you’ve learned, you have questions, you feel like you have access to this deeper part of yourself that you’re just discovering! You want to be able to talk to others who have experienced this shift as well. But then you go to friends, family, and doctors just to be met with blank stares or to be told that you are wasting your time having a period.

And that’s my story as well. I started using fertility awareness right at the beginning of the pandemic, and while this was already an isolating time, the fact that I had no one to obsess over my cycle charts with made it that much more lonely. It wasn’t until I started my fertility awareness teacher training that I was able to find community around my cycle - and let me tell you it wasn’t just a zoom call. It was a group of incredible women so incredibly filled with love, and a bond that could only be created through the intimacy of deepening our relationship to our cycles.

So this is what the Cycle Charting Meetups are all about! They are a space where you are invited to show up as you are, whether you are brand new to cycle charting or have been charting for years. We share resources, cycle charts, and experiences, and leave feeling energized and inspired! You will have the opportunity to have your questions answered by a certified fertility awareness educator (me!) as well as others who are also charting their cycles.

Some of our past topics have included:

  • What is the daily routine of someone who practices fertility awareness

  • How to include male partners into your fertility awareness practice

  • What to do if you’re struggling to consistently take your basal body temperature

  • Using fertility awareness through all stages of life

  • A whole person approach to PMS and how charting will help you understand your symptoms

  • Fertility awareness as a way to live more in tune with our cycles

If this sounds like something you need in your life, we’d love to have you join us! Meetups are hosted monthly, so click the link below for the schedule.
